With a new custom showcase comes a.. new figure lol. This time being an Infinite Spartan Anubis!
Finally getting some work done on my fireteam I started making… after I made my first customs… Wow lol. And clearing out my backlog of figures. I made this fireteam back before I joined Instagram, when the Halo Infinite series 2 blind bags were out. As a fun project I wanted to make a fireteam out of the 4 Spartans that came in said blindbag series. Hence fireteam Alpaca! It’s been a while since I’ve worked on the fireteam, and had a lot of fun on this figure.. until became oddly frustrating near the end. At that point I just wanted to get it done. I think I was growing frustrated because I still can’t get my paints thinned right lol. Either way I was finally able to get it done today. The paint job is inspired off of the scorpion punch coating in infinite. But I wanted to give it some more blue to help it fit in with the other members. With this figure I finally got to test out a new visor paint. Which I love. Finally have some more options and your going to see another new color on the next figure. I know @nsi_customs has been looking for some new visors 😏 so if this one and the next one looks fancy when I make it. You may want to consider green stuff worlds metallic colors. Along side the Anubis I painted up a simple DMR. Didn’t want to do anything too fancy with it and wanted to make it something I can replicate for a lot of weapons.
Paints used:
-Citadel Death World Forest
-Citadel Macragge Blue
-Citadel Abbadon Black
-Citadel Leadbelcher
-Citadel Averland sunset
-Citadel Runefang Steel
-Citadel Corax White
-Citadel Nuln Oil
-GreenStuffWorld Neptunus Blue
Paints used (weapon):
-Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey
-Citadel Nuln Oil
-Citadel Abbadon Black
Next figure is going to be the 4th and final member of Fireteam Alpaca, and it’s going to be interesting.
I hope you like the figure!
