This set was previewed at Power-Con earlier this year. We received the first production samples, so we thought it would be fun to give a peek behind the scenes.
The Mega Construx design team always wants to strike the right mix of vehicles vs gear vs playsets in the Masters line. So, when we planned out the new Skeletor Heads sets, we picked one of each.
Like the Jet Sled, the various Power Gear accessories were released late in the original toy line’s run, so they went under some fans radars at the time. The Mega Construx design team was really excited to have to the opportunity to bring one of them, the Cliff Climber, into the Masters line. The great thing about construction toys is you can build them (sorry for sounding like captain obvious). In this case, Fisto wears a brand-new vest with posts that basically allows you to build directly on a figure. This opens up a lot of possibilities to add all kinds of accessories to figures.
The set also includes spare weapons because we can never have enough of those and the packaging features a glow in the dark Skeletor face.
Fisto and the Cliff Climber will be available in early 2021 and will retail for approximately 9.99$.
