We believe building bricks can be used to create anything. So, this year, the Mega Construx design team is introducing something new to the Halo line. Each building set in the Halo line features a second build that can be accomplished using the same parts as the main vehicle. Instructions for the alternate build are available on our website. By creating a second build for each set, we hope to inspire fans to expand their Halo universe and get building.
Behind the scenes: The MCX design team challenged itself to make each 2in1 build very different from the main model. With the Mongoose, the 2in1 build was a challenge. We set aside the wheels to make sure the model was different from the Mongoose. We explored a couple of different building options. One was a small communications tower (that can be the subject of another post if you guys are interested) and the other, the option we went with was the Scout Speeder.
