I was working on this display off and on for a long time, but eventually decided to shelf it because it was a big ugly mess of hot glue and apoxie sculpt. For whatever reason I decided to revisit it one day and applied a base coat of brown and a heavy wash and realized it didn't look quite so ugly anymore. I finished up the painting and ended up with something I think actually turned out good.
The second to last picture shows the base in a much earlier state, before the sculpting was even done. The studs are from some generic dollar store bricks for anyone wondering. The last photo is the base coat and wash from earlier this month as well as some figure posing to decide how the scene should look.
