Hey guys! This Monday I’m kicking off my last week for the semester with one of my favorite custom figures so far this year: Halo 3 - Hayabusa Spartan! The Hayabusa is a figure I’ve done multiple times before, but NEVER like this. This iteration does NOT use any older pieces, and everything besides the beautiful helmet from my partner @bthal_mantakree is sculpted entirely by hand! To start, like previously said, I sculpted the shoulders and chest, attempting to be as accurate as possible to in game and keeping them removable! Next, the armor was fully repainted in white, with red for the secondary and black for additional detailing and the undersuit. There are also other hints of red in some spots just to accentuate the armor itself. The visor is repainted in a shiny metallic gold, and the armor was given a light black wash to bring out the sculpted details. Compared to my older attempts, this is absolutely killer to look at now!
