Build: I already talked about the building experience on my previous post which was good, except for the missiles on the wings which were a pain to make, besides that everything worked very well. The features this set has are opening up the cockpit to place a figure, move each wings up and down and each thruster or engine up and down. You can also move the gun turret at the bottom of the pelican, and you can pull out the landing wheels from underneath, and then push them back. There are 2 landing gears one on each side, when you pull then all the way down, they will lock in position, and to put them back, you just pull a gray lever from the inside of the pelican, the the landing gears will automatically be put back in position. You can also open the roof up, pull down the lading pad, and open up the whole back part of the pelican,’which to do so you have to de a series of steps but over time it gets easy to do. once the back is open, you can seat a figure, and connect another figure onto a pole to make them stand straight up.
Figures: My least favorite chief, has some nice detail but just not my style. The pilot looks great and the molding for his head is very well done, his legs looks a bit too big, especially the foot which is larger than other marines feet. Finally the Hunter, same molds as any other new articulated hunter, with an awesome color scheme!
Overall Thoughts: Selection of figures is great, and the set itself is worth the value, offering many great features and detail. The build process was very pleasing and the end result is almost perfect. If you can find this set at regular or lower price, get it because rn prices for this are going higher, but i would not spend more than 150, maybe 170 but no more. Hope you enjoyed this review and stay safe!
