The UNSC 'Helogale', a close cousin to the UNSC Mongoose, was an indispensable Up-Armored All-Terrain Vehicle for transporting ODSTs and other marines through hazardous SPEC-OPs missions during the Human-Covenant War. Being equipped with integrated-VISR and Radar systems, along with extra weapons storage, ODSTs especially found it to be a crucial tool in their covert operations amid the invasion of New Mombasa in October of 2552.
