I'm not much of a fan of the Halo series, nor am I a fan of the more "conventional" or less overtly sci-fi inclined military vehicles, but this set is a nice exception to that. Given its size, it has a really nice, almost imposing presence on a shelf, even among other, similarily-sized sets and toys. The ammount of detail on this set is also amazing, which is achieved both with prints and with regular building pieces. The cockpit has accomodations for two microfigures, ans the middle section of the vehicle contains a reactor/engine that, while being a rather simple build, is a great detail to be included. The "siege" mode with the deployed cannon also works and looks very well. The microfigures are very good, as per usual. My only complaint is that a fully armored figure just won't fit inside the cockpit. You need to remove either the helmet or the thigh armor so it can sit flush on the chair. Also, there are two sits, but only one UNSC-aligned figure, so that's like a missed opportunity. Another UNSC figure would have been not only great, but simply logical. However, since I cannot give a 4.5 stars rating, this set gets all 5 stars.
