About this project
Fernando walked outside and stretched. Yet another wonderful day of profit and mayhem was in store! He checked his to-do list and saw that he was due to receive a supply of sheet metal that morning. He looked to the sky and squinted. A thick fog was settling over the base. ‘Hope that doesn’t drive away customers,’ he thought.
Before Fernando could begin walking to the shipment depot, a voice called to him, “Boss! Hey boss!” Greaser, Sierra Blanca’s best engineer, jogged over. “Greaser,” Fernando greeted him, “No armor this morning I see.” Greaser stopped to catch his breath, “Too busy this morning. I did it boss!” Fernando was puzzled. Greaser was always working on twenty projects at once. “Did what?” Fernando asked. “Well,” Greaser replied, “Come see!” Fernando followed the excited engineer to his workshop. In front stood Stitch, the base’s medic.
“Morning Stitch. Any idea why we’re out here?”
“Well then we’re in the same boat I guess.”
“Nice paint job.”
“Thanks! I thought the blue was a nice change. Your new green isn’t bad either.”
Greaser ran back out of his shop and stood in front of them. “Well gentlemen, it took me two months, but I finally made armor the right size for Tiny. Come on out and show the boss Tiny!”
From behind the watchtower strode a massive mutant in green armor. He was the size of a school bus sat on its end. For a head, he had one red stalk with a yellow eye at the center. He was a terrifying sight to be sure, but Fernando knew he couldn’t hurt a fly.
“I’m impressed!,” Fernando said, “You’ve really outdone yourself this time Greaser.”
Greaser called up, “How’s it feel Tiny?” Tiny flexed a little, then gave them a big thumbs up.
Fernando laughed, “Alrighty then! Let’s get you to work!”
