Going to be honest here. I don't play Warhammer and, despite my love for painting minatures, I don't do war gaming. I am more of a D&D kind of guy. The only Warhammer thing I have done was a themed Pathfinder campaign that one of my buddies ran several years ago.
Warhammer has kind of cornered the market on the "Giant Heavy Soldier" market, though, so when I wanted to make a figure that would fall into that genera, I took some heavy inspiration from Warhammer 40k. If you are familiar with some of the Marine minis from that game, you will be able to spot the similarities quite easily.
The only goal I had when making this figure was sheer, unadulterated bulk.
I can't wait to get this guy painted up, but I have quite the stack of customs ahead of me. I have three or four vehicles, several terrain pieces, 19 non-405th figures, and 8 more 405th figures to paint. I have more projects than that to paint, but I don't have everything memorized or written down (oh no). All I can say about this guy is that I'll get to him when I get to him. Season 2 is going to be busy!
