Now that Halo Infinite Blind Bag Series 3 has been revealed, the team thought it would be fun to take a quick peek behind the scenes.
This series once again includes a variety of figure types and armor colors. On the army builder side of things, there is a new Marine, a new type of Grunt as well as new color for the Elite Ultra. With the addition of Miranda Keyes to the line in the 20th Anniversary Character Pack, there was an opportunity to re-use the new head sculpt to create a different version of the Marine. The Grunt Mule is making its debut this season. This new Grunt’s specialty is to carry around weapons on the battlefield, so he comes equipped with two Shock Rifles.
The series also includes additions to the Spartan ranks as well. The team was happy to bring back the Spartan Cohort [GEN3] armor, making its debut in green, as well as adding a brand-new armor type – the ‘’Legends-ary’’ Spartan Hermes [GEN3] to the lineup. Lastly, the Spartan JFO armor makes a return in a fashionable shade of light red armor and geared with the assault/sapper harness and sniper rifle.
The last figure in the series is an Active Camouflage version of the Brute Chieftain. The Mega team heard the fans when they said that Brute Chieftain is one their new favorites from last season, so we looked for ways of bringing it back this season.
To round out this series, the UNSC Wasp is a fun addition to the growing micro collection.
One final note, from the Fall 2021 wave of sets onward, Elites, Jackals and Brutes will use different hand parts than previously. This change was made to make these figures even more accurate to the source material.
