The interior of the Channel 6 News Van.
I made my own custom office chair, only had to file/sandpaper a rounded semicircle out of one side so it would work. I put 2 laptops in as the computers, and built up around them to have 2 video screens. The item to the right of the computers is just something to look like electronics of some sort. And I made sure they had a glove box.... does anyone even put gloves in a glove box? I was really happy about how the interior worked out. I tried my best to keep it low, so figures can more realistically get up there, but you can only do so much.
I think I went over some of the van roof details in the other post, but I'm not sure, so here's a little bit of info, just in case I didn't. For the top, I made sure it was easy to remove by incorporating smooth flats, except for the corners. On that roof piece I added some antennas, a tilting satellite dish, and rotating camera with a seat. At first I wasn't going to have the seat, but then took a closer look at the van while watching the cartoon. I had to get it in there if possible, placed it on a turntable so the camera and the seat move together. I probably should add some sort of ladder to get up there, but oh well.
Well there she is everyone, April O'Neil and her Channel 6 News Van, hope you all enjoy it.
