Aight here we go
This has been a wip for a while
To make the helmet, we had hollowed out a h3 recon helmet originally in hopes to make it removable (long story short it failed), to make up for this i cut off the front, and used green stuff to sculpt on a new front to look like a cqb helmet (this will be posted soon). We glued the front of the recon helmet on the marine helmet, and later i filled in gaps with green stuff, which i havent painted yet. I painted the front of the helmet which contrasts well with the default helmet. To make the chestplate, i i shaped a piece of green stuff to look like an odst chestplate, then broke that off an odst chest and used green stuff to secure it to the marine chestplate, then snapped off the dried piece and painted the part that remains now, which captured a good deal of detail.
I also painted the beard and eyebrows of a getaway marine. Broke off the helmet peg in order for it to be removable, as for some reason when i would put it on a head it wouldnt budge or come off, likely because of dried glue.
If i had more recons, i'd probably try something similar to this again. Mayne i'll use green stuff to capture the detail of a recon helmet
Thanks for viewing and reading my nonsensical description. If you have any questions ask. I challenge yall to try your hand at this ;)
