Pavium and Voridus have been on my to-do list of custom figures for a while now, given that they're the only two major Banished characters aside from Colony who haven't appeared in set form.
The big challenge with the Pavium - and even more so with Voridus - is that his in-game appearance is different to how he looks in the cutscenes. In fact, Pavium's shoulder armour changes between the early cutscene and the final one, making pinning down his design even more complicated.
For my custom, I wanted to emulate the key features of his design that were common between the different depictions - the helmet, the mortar, the shield, and the bulkier shoulder pauldrons. The helmet isn't perfect, but it's hopefully close enough to be recogniseable - the cutscene version is flat, whereas the Blitz card version has the sticking-out parts as an upraised section, so this is a bit of a compromise between the two.
Obviously, there's a glaring issue with the colour of his armour. I was trying to get the more vibrant red like the card art, but because the armour was already grey, and I clearly must have added too much dye to the mix, it's come out a much darker magenta colour. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can really do about that without either learning how to paint or having to start over completely with new parts. I could make him darker, but not brighter, so I'll just have to live with this.
As mentioned above, Pavium's brother Voridus is on my to-do list, I'm currently just waiting to get my hands on one of the new sets for the parts I'll need.
