A bit of history:
"The MG 42 (abbreviated from German: Maschinengewehr 42, or" machine gun 42 ") is a general purpose 7.92 × 57 mm Mauser machine gun designed in Germany and used extensively by the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS during the second half of World War II. "
This weapon was made from the ATV Raid's COD rifles (which originally my rifles had a lot of flaws) and I decided to customize it to a WWII MG42 for use in dioramas or Wastelanders (as I planned to use a lot of WWII variety).
It has some errors that I came to see when I finished it, for example the size is a little exaggeratedly large (the same happened with the BFG 9000 from DOOM 1993) But I like it.
Something unique that I did to this weapon is that the ammunition was removable and that it had details as well which I think is the best thing I did with this custom. Although I have plans to make future modifications to make it tripod adaptable.
Soon I will take photos with this weapon just like the most recent customs.
