As anyone who knows me can attest, the Banished are my all-time favourite faction in Halo, and I'm always on the lookout for ways to add to my ranks.
Today I present a few of my recent additions. First up, I decided to make a couple Storm Elites in the Banished style, which I think turned out pretty well.
Next up were my two big projects, which I built using parts from a GoT Drogon set, the new Banished AA Turret, and the original Banished Banshee. The first of these was a Banished locust, which has plenty of features, including an accessible cockpit, swiveling head, and full ball-joint mobility in all of the legs. I even added mandibles to the front of the head to serve as a sort of mouth.
Last, but certainly not least, is what I'm tentatively titling the Hunter Archon. I was originally trying to make a Halo Wars 2 Hunter Captain, but ended up making something much bigger and more awesome. This thing is huge, towering over the Locust and my Banished Goliaths. It has neck, arm, finger, leg, and waist articulation, and the back spikes can even be adjusted as well. Unfortunately it's also kind of fragile, as the torso is very heavy and puts a lot of stress on the leg and waist articulation. I might have to buy some more parts and refine the design a bit more before I'm fully happy with it.
