The Children of Atriox: young brutes volunteered as children to undergo a twisted, Banished equivalent of the Spartan-II program. These warriors are monstrously huge and incredibly strong, equipped with heavy armour, powerful energy shields, jump packs, experimental firearms, and vicious melee weapons. Their sole purpose for existing is to hunt down and destroy the “demons” of humankind.
According to Banished troops captured by the UNSC, Spatha the Shieldmaiden is the most cunning of the group. Spatha is the team strategist, known for both her callousness towards her enemies, and her care for those under her command. She wields sword and shield in battle, often taking charge when in direct confrontations. Casualties are rare among those under her command, while opposing forces often take heavy losses.
Also pictured is Charis. A female brute with a knack for engineering, Charis has a firm understanding of a myriad of technologies, human, Covenant, and Forerunner alike. Many of the weapons used by the Children are of her design. She has proven particularly adept at infiltrating and manipulating UNSC communications systems, allowing her to eavesdrop on messages, and plan ambushes against Spartan targets.
