Finished up my class of '86 Joes today. Some have been done for several months but others I just started on in the past couple of days.
- Beachhead -- Fairly straightforward figure with some paint apps. The parts for this figure were there without a lot of work to get a serviceable figure.
- Dialtone -- The body was a nice mix of various figures with some paint apps. For the straps, I used vinyl electrical tape cut to size then affixed with glue and some kibble added on for details. I need to model up a better version of his backpack but for now, a Star Wars battle droid backpack works
- General Hawk -- Another one where all the parts were there and he just needed a bit of paint to achieve the final look. May need to go back and use some tape to make his should harness, he looks a bit bare without it.
- Iceberg -- Mostly paint, but I did have to sculpt the hat (was a stocking cap head I added the flaps to)
- Leatherneck -- Mostly paint with a customized harness to get the look of the original figure. The knife and grenade are a bit too big, but that's just because they're brick-scale.
- Lifeline -- Sculpted the pouches and harness on his torso, otherwise he's all paint apps (still need to make some gear for him)
- Lowlight -- Sigma 6 2.5" Duke head (I know he needs a stocking cap but I didn't have any heads that I liked the look of so went with this one) and paint to get the rest of the look.
