Hey guys! Today I’m showcasing my newest #haloinfinite custom figure, Elite Warlord! To date, this is likely my FAVORITE MOLD EVER from mega construx, sitting perfectly at a mix between Halo Reach and Halo Four. Kicking off this figure, I began by custom sculpting the wrists and thighs by hand to more closely resemble the Jazwares Warlord figure (the only other reference we have to date) and giving the entire armor a fresh coat of Yriel Yellow to stay true to its design. Next, I applied black all over the arms, lower and upper legs and the chest, adding smaller hints of Corvus black for additional detailing. Some of the armor clasps and smaller details were done in Mechanicus grey, and the symbols running long the chest were painted in Corax white! The next step was to glaze the armor in a soft tone wash t saturate the yellow, finally being finished up with a matte coat of storm shield. This has got to be one of my favorite recent customs personally, but I want to know your thoughts as well! Enjoy!
