(9 Pics)
Here is my first review of a Halo MCX set, which today is the Halo Infinite Skiff Intercept and what do I have to say about this set?
Well, to begin with, we go with the figures:
The figures in my opinion are very cool, I love the style of these Brutes with silver armor, the grunt I loved the armor a lot (which is a CE repaint but still looks good) and the Mark VII? Well this so far has been my first Mark VII that I have and has given me ideas for maybe some customs in the future.
The skiff as such I love its design, it looks like a combined version of a Shadow with a Prowler which is very well done.
The construction is entertaining, although the engine part (pic 5) was a bit difficult to understand how the tubes were placed but later I knew how to do it.
At first I was worried about the size due to storage, it seems to be about the size of a Scorpion (I have no proof but if someone can confirm it, I appreciate it) and it fits perfectly through the entrance of the Firebase which is perfect.
The play feature is interesting, although it was difficult for me to understand how I put it together since I am not much into systems like that.
Something that I did not like was the turret that does not have much design, I understand that it is due to the shooter but maybe they could add a better look.
You may wonder why I bought a Skiff?
Well, they were for many reasons, but the biggest was because I was thinking of adding it to the diorama of 28, the irony is that the Skiff arrived days after the event.
Another reason was for Survivors of Mombasa for more Brutes since the story focuses on the events of Halo 2 and Halo 3 ODST (need more MONKE).
The alternate build will not be done as I have too many ideas with the Skiff, which if I wanted to do the alternate version then I might buy a second skiff if I could.
Additional I love that in this set you get 2 heads of Craig to spare which I have plans to use for Kong in MCX figure scale version (it is not Kraig Kong, that is already very valuable to me).
On points I give it 9/10 but I highly recommend it.
I hope you guys like this first set review and be safe at home.
