Hey guys! Today I’m showcasing the next figure from my collection, made special just for #Haloween, Spartan Hell Guard! This figure was an original idea, thought up while imagining what it would look like for a spartan to be made of MAGMA! I started on this idea by repainting the armor in matte black, dry brushing mechanicus grey next to bring out the molding details. Afterwards, I started to hand paint each individual line with layers of yellow, orange and red. I then applied the same technique to his staff, repainting it black with the same colors. His final accessory (my favorite, personally) is the Magma Shield! This was a tricky piece, but successful in the best ways! I repainted it with oranges, reds and yellows, then adding a technicolor for the crackle effect, painted in grey.
