Hey guys! This Wednesday afternoon I am showcasing the final chapter of the Haunted Helmet by ls3d_printing, the piece that started our partnership altogether - Spartan Haunted with Removable Visor! First and foremost: this piece(s) is by far Ls’ best work to date. Every single line and detail is crisp and exact, truly showing just how far he’s grown. These were THE BEST pieces to paint. I wanted this figure to be a tribute so it features not only the newest Haunted Helmet, but also 2 CQC shoulders along with a Reach DMR all by ls3d_printing! The armor, with a custom robotic arm and knife, as well as additional helmets were repainted in Elysian Green with Mechanicus and Eshin Grey for the secondary. Next, smaller black, Corvus Grey, Eshin Grey, Dryad Brown, and Leadbelcher details were applied all over the armor. Afterward, more Dawnstone Grey, Mephiston Red and Corax White details were hand painted in the appropriate areas, while the internal skull was repainted in Ushabti Bone. To finish off the figure and parts, I gave them all a silver dry brush with lighter black wash before adding the metallic gold visors, teal lights and soft tone washe over top. This is hands down the best Reach figure I’ve done in the last year all thanks to ls3d_printing - please give him a follow and get some helmets of your own today!
