Here is my entry for Kingcastlesieger's ODST contest: Asteran Phoenix.
Phoenix is a prominent leader in the UNSC's Gamma-2 Company: composed of marines, ODST, and a single spartan. Phoenix is the third in command, and the personal leader of Fireteam "Love." Specializing in tactical positioning, espionage, and hand to hand combat, he is a menace in the field. He is more of an introvert, but has some personal relationships with a few of his colleagues. Phoenix leads his teams to the best of his ability, seeing the troops under him as his responsibility and truly mourns for those who die under his command. His soldiers view him as an exemplary figure and strive to be as good as he is.
Phoenix personally thrives in Covert Operations, but is exceptional in large scale warfare as well. Gamma-2 Company mostly specialize in anti-insurgent operations, with the Insurrectionists being a common "customer."
