Confession time. I really needed to have this done yesterday. Seriously. This entire diorama needs to be done by 1:30 PM tomorrow, and there is no changing that deadline. I should have started last week, but I usually put things like this off to the last minute and work like a squirrel that has just had double its body weight in caffeine. That description is sadly accurate. I am probably going to be fueled by caffeine tomorrow and won't actually have time to take a break. It's a good thing I have tomorrow off.
Anyway . . .
Here is my game plan for my bulk sets and figures diorama. I have decided to go with all three themes. Deal with it. I have drawn out a map with the current projections for how everything is going to be set up on it. Since taking this photo, I have got roughly 75% of the UNSC, Guardian, and COD stuff set up, but I need to flesh it out a bit more. I have complete zilch for no man's land, the "bad guy" section, and the Joe Wick reference (Which will literally just be a Joe Wick figure surrounded by a ton of figures that have been knocked over.
After I get everything laid out into the grids shown on the map, I will be able to slightly move where everything is at to make it seem just a tad more fluid. I don't want it to look like either side is winning.
Although I will finish this entire diorama tomorrow because my self imposed deadline says I don't have a choice, I am not going to spam the gallery with updates all in one day. Expect to see the finished product some time next week, and expect updates every day or two.
What do you all think of the current game plan? Should one side have the upper hand? Let me know that or anything else you feel is relevant in the comments section below.
