My second animation test using MCX Halo figures, hopefully a touch more exciting than the first! As a newbie to these sets and figures, I do not have nearly the extensive collection as I have seen from others on this site, but I have the new Building Box (GPT03), the red helmet Escape (GYG57), and an assortment of figures - including this Spartan Recon figure. So I grabbed the sandbags from the Building Bx, the barricade from Escape, and decided to try something new.
The muzzle flash pieces from the Building Box are just fantastic, and make for a great practical effect on the weapons. The range of motion in the Spartan Recon made for some great movements when ducking down, but also kinda worked against me this time as he subtly leans back when shooting - which, in real life and in the games, is just bad technique. Still, I'm happy with how this turned out.
If you like this, I am certainly up for suggestions on what to try next.
