“How much?” Rogue asked. “Probably too much.” Adams responded. “Money is no object.” Rogue said dismissively. Master Adams eyes lit up. “Well, normally I would have you pay full price, $15. But I like you, so I’m giving it to you for $10.” Rogue looked at him and said, “I give you $20 so that you will not divulge my allegiance to SSR to anyone.” Adams almost did a happy dance. “Sold! But how do I know you’ll drop off that 20 bucks?” Adams asked. “We keep our bargains. But to show good faith,” he said while handing his old sniper to Adams, “I will leave my rifle here. I can’t return to USRC without it, or there will be to many questions. I will return for it in 2 days with money.” Adams gave him a sarcastic little bow and said, “Alright! See you in 2 days pal, or I’m showing up at the nearest outpost and blabbing about you.” Rogue nodded, and continued towards the specified coordinates. This took him most of the rest of the day.
