These New Conglomerate figures are so simple, yet so fun. The Engineer is my alt/second main in PlanetSide 2. I actually broke my own self imposed rule on this figure/game character.
I make it a point to spend as little as possible on video games (one of the many reasons I quit Destiny and will no longer have anything to do with its creator, Bungie, was the endless money grabbing) and I make it a point to spend absolutely zilch on free games. The only exceptions to the rule are as follows:
1. The game company has done something really deserving of a compliment from my wallet (like Respawn going behind EA's back and making all of the new cosmetics in the Apex Legends Halloween event free).
2. I just really want to because I like the game (the case here).
This figure was made with the intention of invoking exception number two in mind. I wanted to make a second PlanetSide 2 figure, and I wanted him to look cool. The default Engineer helmet for the NC is actually really ugly. There are a couple of paid DLC helmets that look really cool, though, and I decided to buy the Sigma Mechanic Helmet and a couple other things to round off the money I was spending to an even ten bucks.
The weapon I run with the Engineer, the NSX-P Tengu, is an odd little thing that is somehow more broken than it has any right to be in game.
