Those who know me are familiar with my love for the myriad of creatures Mega makes. From plasma dragons to breakout beasts, and everything in between.
But there is a special place in my heart for the Metal Ages dragons from 2005/2006. In my humble opinion, these are still the very best dragons Mega has made, before or since. While the articulation is a little basic, the sheer level of detailing on these things is unmatched by anything that has come after.
I've been trying to get my hands on Clawdagger for a few years, and now that I finally have him, he's slipped comfortably into place as my second-favourite dragon in my collection (first place still goes to Heliostrafe).
For those of you who might've missed out on the earliest years of Mega's magnificence, I strongly recommend digging around online for some of these old sets. Even after all these years, they hold up really well.
