Akro is a 14 year old boy who was born on Reach, December 1st, 2542. His mother had complications and so died shortly after giving birth, his father was an officer in the UNSC which is how Akro started training at the age of 7 under his father’s supervision. Once he was fine there his father took him to actual training programs and quickly proved to be advanced in close quarters. After about three years of training in 2552 Reach was invaded, Akro and his father were at their house when a drop pod came crashing through the roof and nearly crushed his father. An elite jumped out and attacked Akro’s father but he was quick to react and pulled out his magnum and shot the attacker but not before sustaining wounds. Akro grabbed his father and tried to get him help but the house crumbled down onto them and so Akro jumped into his father to try to protect him. About an hour later two spartans uncovered them from the rubble but it was to late as his father had received fatal wounds from the elite. Akro took his fathers pistol and with the help of the spartans, was safely evacuated off.

After the events that happened on Reach Lang, and the Rookie offered to take Akro and train him and look after him. So this is exactly what they did for a year and a half. During this time, Akro went through many tests to see which weapons and equipment he was best with. Close ranged weapons just seemed to be his thing. He also caught the eye of a Special Ops team and they asked if they could recruit him but Rookie and Lang said no. Then on June 13th 2553, the Insurrectionists attacked the base that Akro was located at and killed Lang and Rookie. He would take the armor of them that he could and put it over what he originally wore. Also during this time he would paint his pistol to resemble the one Lang had. Akro would track down the spartans that had saved him from Reach and decided to stick with them. So for the next 2 months Akro went on missions with these spartans until August 12th. The team had to go destroy the remains of a covenant cruiser that had crashed, the covenant were sticking near it and most likely salvaging any information they could. The mission went all according to plan up until they got spotted. The air assault spartan decided to stay and ensure that the bomb detonated. While running away Akro was hit by a beam rifle in the lung. The spartan carried him downhill but they were to close and when the bomb went off they got blasted off the mountain. The spartan grabbed Akro and used himself as a shield, upon smacking against the bass of the mountain he broke three spots in his back while Akro was flung for about another twenty feet before coming to a stop. When Akro awoke he was greeted my marines holding flashlights and guns at him. They recognized him and told him that the spartan had died and they saw the explosions from the village nearby. Akro went there and called for the UNSC to go get him, but instead he was greeted by a special ops pelican and they recruited him. With no where else to go and no one else left he joined.

He trained for a while and made some friends in his new team. Then on October 26th the team got their first mission. Akro had began training for knife and pistol combat so he would be more effective in close quarters. The team would have to board a cruiser, find the shipmaster and blow the ship down. Some accidents happened and so one of Akros friends was blown up by a grenade, his lungs collapsed and Akro decided to complete all of his armor by taking theirs. Now the team was slightly confused and so Akro took charge, he told all of them to go to the reactor while he went after the shipmaster. Akro and the shipmaster went on a prolonged duel which involved Akro cutting out one of his eyes and getting a scar along his cheek himself. Once the shipmaster was subdued they blew the ship up and left. Akro would then go and talk with his commander about starting his own team and leaving so that way he wouldn’t have to watch his friends die, which reluctantly, the commander let him.

Once he turned 12 he was offered a new spot on a team that had just started which he said yes. His new team consisted of a 11 year old sniper and a 14 year old explosives expert and pilot. Two years later they are still ok and running their team with just the 3 of them.
