Throwback Thursday: 2008 Banshee

But Mega Bloks Halo wasn't a thing in 2008, right? It was a year before it hit the market, but prototypes for what later became the first series of sets were created in late 2008. One of the very first vehicles to be kit-bashed was the Banshee. This model was the first build of what evolved into the Banshee that was included with the Sparrowhawk in the first Aerial Ambush set 96810.

Notice the glued-together canopy and the overall gray/silver weathering. The Banshee has come a long way since then.
