Hey guys, I had a few requests to keep the forum up to date with my Ultimate Pelican MOC. Apologies for not uploading Phases 3 or 4. To make up for it here are some work in progress shots of Phase 5 (Front wings and engines).
This is by far the most challenging part of the build so far from both design, practicality and part availability stances.
I've had to come up with all sorts of unusual techniques to get the shapes I require for the engine intakes but so far I'm happy with the effort.
I must admit that I did have to walk away on more than one occasion due to frustration but as always, patience paid off.
There is still lots to do but now that I have the basic frame and dimensions in place things should get 'slightly' easier.
