Aliens Xeno Queen Review

I just want to start out saying I have looked forward to this set ever since pictures of it were released. Aliens is one of my all time favorite movies so this might be a little biased. The build was very fun and enjoyable (I would recommend putting the parts in small open containers if possible due to a lot of rolly pins/bars). There are a lot of unique pieces printed and non-printed. The final set is huge compared to a standard figure. The head crest is beautiful and constructed in interesting ways. Build seems very sturdy (with careful play) and the end result is very photogenic in many angles. My only gripes would be that the tail seems rather short, the legs are blocky in some areas, and no minifigures are included. I would have loved to see a Ripley, Hicks, or Bishop figure alongside the towering Queen. Overall I would recommend the set highly despite my small gripes with it.

-lots of unique parts
-fun to build and pose
-very photogenic
-sized well to figures
-great addition to any sci-fi fan collection

Cons:
- tail could have been longer
- legs look blocky in some parts
- lack of iconic characters/minifigures
