In this Custom, I did some work on a SPNKr and a Charlie series spartan.
I Initially messed up when I first painted the SPKKr. When I tried adding the yellow stripes into the divots, it went all over the silver paint. This messed up the look of the weapon, so I had to clean it in a mixture of isopropyl and soap. After 30 minute of brushing all of the old paint off, I went at it again. This time I added all of the yellow stripes first and then added on the silver. This gave it a cleaner look. I do admit that the silver could have turned out better. I put too many layer so it looks slightly caked on.
Since I have an extra Charlie series figure from an old haul, I decided to get to work on one of them. I always love having an extra figure because you can keep the better looking one in its original state and customize the one thats a bit rough around the edges.
Both customs ended up looking a little wonkier than I expected. I have been adding many different colors into my recent customs. I'm trying to see if I can make a custom look "consistent" while adding so many different color. It is a challenge making all of the colors compliment one another, but I think the results are ***sometimes*** well worth it in the end.
Had a blast with this! LMK what you guys think.
Thank you and Enjoy!
