Just remembered today that I was scheduled for the 22nd to post my edition of Sigfig Sunday, then quickly realized that I went all of yesterday not realizing it was Sunday. KEEPING TRACK OF TIME DURING QUARANTINE IS HARD! So, here it is, a day late.
So... My sig fig is relatively new, since I've gone through a few of them. But for once, I think I've found one that I'm sticking with. Might soon have a Clone Commando version that shows up every now and again, since being a Clone Commando seems almost too perfect considering my user name. But Molten Gregor is here to stay. As for why, we've gotta go on a trip down Gallery lane.
About two and a half years ago, our resident humor magnet, Zarry, made an episode of Slapstick featuring yours truly where, let's just say, I went a little hard on making an omelet. Since then, my persona on the gallery has been given the attribute of setting things on fire wherever I go. Usually other people. Or buildings. Sometimes both. *ow* Okay. Mostly both. I don't even need a fire starter. Just set me next to something, and it'll catch on fire. Most likely you will too. Except bushes. Those don't catch, from experience.
Anyways, I'm getting side tracked. So. Fire. It's everywhere. I'm basically the Fire Lord at this point. But at the time, my sig fig was a flippidin' Blue Air Assault Spartan. The least flammable looking individual you have EVER seen was the one setting the whole fracking world on fire. I now had a reputation to uphold, understand? So... I got to scheming... what kind of fire themed figure could I make? Plain red, red with painted fire, black with orange and yellow markings... So many possibilities... ... And then I didn't choose any of them, and changed from a Blue Air Assault, to, YOU GUESSED IT... A Blue Grenadier Spartan. I changed NOTHING except the armor type. Which is how it stayed for six months... for HALF A YEAR I stuck with this abomination. (I'm not actually that mad, because said figure has since then taken up the mantle of DoD Gregor, but in the context, I was being a FOOL OF A TOOK!) Then, one day, I was saving the Skylands from the terrifying power of the Darkness (*cough* totally not within the confines of the videogame known as Skylanders Superchargers) and was playing the individual known as Spitfire, a fire spirit who starts blue, but can be upgraded to volcanic orange. And it struck me; The perfect figure. A volcanic warrior of flame and fortune. And so... Molten Gregor, the Passive Blaze of Glory, Fire Lord of all the Realm, was born. Only to be slammed by a multitude of weapons for missing Sigfig Sunday.
And that was a Crap Guide to Spartan Gregor. You're welcome.
