The USRC employs advanced 4th generation Main Battle Tanks (MBT) to counter any threat they may find on the battles fields of 2083.
First entering service in the late 2050’s as the successor of the Abrams, the tank remains not only relevant, but dominant in the conflicts in the fallen world.
Equipped with an Aegis Active protection system (APS) that combines both hard-kill and soft-kill methods, the tank is immune to Anti-tank guided missiles, shoulder fired rockets, and nearly indestructible to APFSDS rounds, as the APS damages incoming projectiles, reducing their penetrative capabilities by on average 65%. The damaged incoming projectiles then fail to penetrate the rich composite armor found on the front and sides of the vehicle.
The 130 mm smooth bore armament fires a variety of deadly munitions, and is reloaded by the fastest autoloader available. A computerized fire control system allows the gunner to hit moving vehicles from several miles away, with regular success. The gunner, commander, and driver have the most modern night vision optics, enabling the MBT to confidently conquer any scenario.
The open battlefields of the Wasteland allow the MBT to dominate, and the lack of advanced weapons by the CDT, PHU, and SSR make it impervious to all attacks.
